Yeovil Crime Reduction Team enables the effective sharing of appropriate data between the police, crime reduction agencies and the business community to reduce crime and antisocial behaviour.

1.  Governance

Maintaining a central hub (DISC) for data sharing that is recognised by the police and the business community as the most effective platform for gathering intelligence in the UK.

2.  Data

Bringing together information from across the business sector and combining it with police and public sector intelligence to help identify the scale of potential criminal threats.

3.  Infrastructure

Helping our members see the bigger picture and the full extent of the potential threat of prolific or persistent offenders, issuing alerts on trends and patterns to help all businesses better understand any potential risks and how they might use their resources to reduce them.

4.  Collaboration

Being recognised as a local non for profit Business Crime Reduction Partnership (BCRP) on public-to-private data sharing and being a single point of contact for all members.

5.  Sustainability

Totally funded and controlled by YCRT members, ensuring we remain an independent, not for profit Business Crime Reduction Partnership (BCRP) for all businesses and relevant Government bodies.
